IF WATER WILL NOT FLOW FROM THE TAPS:
First! Check the pressure gauge at the original well pressure tank.
Does the pressure gauge read at or close to 0 psi?
IF YES: The problem is likely with your well's "submersible" pump.
Check the pump's electrical switch or circuit breaker.
Contact your well company.
IF NO:
Check the pressure gauge located on the radon systems re-pressurization pump.
Does it read 0 psi?
IF YES, FOLLOW THESE STEPS.
STEP #1: Close ball valve #3 (output) (On the copper pipe with the faucet)
STEP #2: Find the grey pressure switch located on the blue jet pump.
(It looks like a small grey loaf of bread with a rounded nut on the top).
STEP #3: You will notice a small lever on the side of the pressure switch that resembles a small Allen wrench.
STEP #4: Lift the lever until pump starts (there will be resistance) and hold it in position until the pressure on the gauge rises to about 30-35 psi.
STEP #5: Let go of the lever. The pump should run on its own.
STEP #6: Let the pump run until it reaches 58-60 psi and shuts off.
STEP #7: Now open ball valve # 3 to feed the house.
CONGRATULATIONS!
Pump reset is complete,
YOU SHOULD HAVE WATER.
IF THIS PROCEDURE IS NOT SUCCESSFUL:
Close (handle perpendicular to pipe) ball valves #2 & 3.
Open (handle in line with pipe) ball valve # 1.
Shut off electrical switch on top of front grey panel.
THE "AIRaider" SYSTEM IS NOW BY-PASSED!
